Connecting your Magento store to DataQ is a straightforward and easy process. Follow the steps listed below to get your online store connected. 

Step 1: Select the Integrations option from the navigation menu on the left.

Step 2: Select the Add Integration tab. 

Step 3: Click on the Magento panel.  

Step 4: Enter the required information.

If you connect via Standard option here is what's required:

Host*
Database Username
Database Password
Database Name**

If you connect via SSH option here is what's required:

Host*
Database Username
Database Password
Database Name
SSH Host
SSH User
SSH Key

Step 5: Schedule your first data ingest and frequency.

The first data ingest is how DataQ gets your historical data for activation. Based on your selected frequency, DataQ automatically ingests new data as it becomes available. 

Note: Your first data ingest may take a few hours. The amount of time it takes depends on the amount of data your store contains. As soon as your ingest is complete, you receive an email notification. Additionally, a notification displays with a status of “Ready.”

* A hostname is the database server, usually an IP or domain (e.g., db.domainname.com or 192.168.1.2

** A database name is the name of the database that Magento uses on that database server. (e.g., mangento2_prod)
